Code of conduct

Rules

The same rules you get in game with /rules. Not knowing them doesn’t let you off the hook.

Read before you play

Seven rules for everyone

Each point gives the gist and the full wording, the same as in game. Every rule has its own link — send it to anyone who needs a reminder.

  1. Rule 1. No cheats

Cheats, world downloaders, mods, seed crackers, resource packs and any third-party software that gives you an unfair advantage over other players are forbidden.

    What’s allowed

    • A minimap — as long as it doesn’t reveal invisible players.
    • Replay Mod — record your games and watch the replays.

In Xaero’s Minimap, JourneyMap and VoxelMap the server itself turns off the player and mob radar and cave mode.

  3. Rule 3. No lag machines or DDoS

Deliberately degrading server performance is forbidden — through special mechanisms, bugs, clients or DDoS attacks.

  4. Rule 4. No flooding or spam

Excessive flooding and spamming in chat is forbidden.

  5. Rule 5. Found a bug? Report it

If you find any errors, exploits, duplication bugs or glitches, report them to the staff IMMEDIATELY. Hiding them from the staff for personal gain will be punished.

In game: /reportbug <description> or the /report menu.

  6. Rule 6. Don’t pose as staff

Posing as project staff is forbidden.

  7. Rule 7. Use /mute only as intended

Use /mute only against advertising of other projects and excessive chat spam. Any other use will cost you your rank.

/mute comes with the Cthulhu and Kraken ranks.

02 — Good to know

Clarifications

On punishments, donations and who is responsible for your stuff.

  1. The staff decides which punishment to apply and for how long.

  2. A hacked account is not an excuse to avoid responsibility.

  3. Donations are non-refundable, but if you did not receive your purchase or received the wrong amount of currency, contact the staff.

  4. You are responsible for keeping your items safe. The staff is not liable for items lost to errors or server outages.
